The relationship between shadow banking and mobile payment methods in the Iraqi environment

Abstract
The research aims to analyse the extent of the contribution of shadow banking represented by the loans of the Iraqi Housing Fund in increasing the means of payment via mobile, as well as identifying the scientific contents of each of the shadow banking and mobile payment methods and the relationship of these concepts with each other, as well as evaluating the role of available financial services and how to exploit them in achieving the system Shadow banking through mediation operations carried out by institutions in whole or in part, as the growth rates of loans granted to all branches were analysed, as well as the growth rates of mobile payment methods in Iraq for the period from 2017-2021 according to the available data, and the arithmetic mean was calculated And the standard deviation and the highest and lowest value of the total observations, and Iraq was chosen as a country for research, because shadow banking has contributed to the development of the financial and economic aspect significantly. The most important recommendations are the need to expand the use of mobile payment, due to the important role it plays in providing electronic banking transactions and delivering them to a larger segment of the society Iraqi.
