Abstract

The issue of partnership between the public and private sectors is of great interest in the countries of the world to achieve economic progress and support development. The research aims to study and analyze the Saudi experience in the field of partnership between the public and private sectors and its recent trends. The data indicates that the number of projects reached 306 projects, which is a large number that would support the economy and provide financial resources, in addition to providing job opportunities. The research reached a number of conclusions, which are that the government trend refers to supporting the private sector and increasing its contribution to economic activity, and its endeavor to develop and enhance a cycle in industrial and agricultural projects to achieve sustainable development, The most important recommendations reached by the research is to go towards developing the necessary legislation to regulate the partnership between the public and private sectors, and to benefit from the experiences of successful countries in the field of partnership between the public and private sectors.
