The role of knowledge management among doctors in improving health services: An exploratory study in the Ministry of Health / Baghdad

Abstract

Purpose: The research seeks to clarify the role of knowledge management in improving health services through an exploratory study of the opinions of a sample of doctors in the Ministry of Health / Baghdad.

Design/Methodology: The descriptive analytical approach was adopted, through designing and building a scale that has the ability to measure the main dimensions of the research, which are represented by the questionnaire form. (76) questionnaires were distributed through a purposive sample of a number of managers and their assistants, considering them the research sample, and in order to analyze the data, they were Use a range of statistical methods

Value of the study: The value of the study was to address the topic of knowledge management in the health sector and its role in improving the health services provided.

The results: The research concluded that there is a statistical correlation between knowledge management and health services at the level of the Ministry of Health. A number of proposals were also presented, the most important of which is the constant pursuit of generating knowledge and trying to apply it in various ways and methods because of its role in improving the health services provided.
