Abstract
The current research aims to study the impact of the quality of team-member exchange on building shared mental models through a survey of the opinions of a purposive sample that included (240) individuals from university and private college leaders in the Middle Euphrates region. The quality of team-member exchange was measured through three dimensions:(Meetings, exchange and cohesion). Shared mental models were measured through five dimensions (general tasks and team knowledge, general tasks and communication skills, members’ attitudes towards colleagues and the task, team dynamics and interactions, team resources and the work environment). The researchers relied on the descriptive analytical approach. In analyzing and interpreting information, in addition to some statistical programs such as (Microsoft Excel 2010, SPSS V.25, Amos V.23). The research concluded that the mutual atmosphere of the member team affects the construction of joint mental models, and according to this, the researchers identified a set of recommendations
