Analysis of Tow-Way trade between Iraq and Turkey for the period 2004-2021

Abstract

The study of the analysis of intra-regional trade between Iraq and Turkey for the period 2004-2021 aims to uncover and know the reasons and obstacles that prevented the development of intra-regional trade, which is considered one of the main means of addressing this economy and working to stimulate intra-trade exchange, but the existence of Arab trade agreements is not sufficient in itself.  This is due to the presence of many other factors that control intra-regional trade, as these factors face many problems that stand in front of them, and among these factors is the quality of relations that bind these countries and in turn contribute to economic integration, which made the volume of intra-regional trade known as low values when compared  With those directed abroad, from here the role of governments in directing trade appears as a first step to highlighting the features of economic cooperation and integration, and the aim of the research is to know what is the volume of Iraq’s intra-trade with Turkey and its causes, in addition to its positive and negative effects on the economies of Iraq and Turkey
