Using the (IOM) model to measure the effectiveness of public spending on the distribution of GDP in Iraq for the year 2020

Abstract

This study came to shed light on the use of the input-output method as one of the methods for calculating the multipliers at the level of each sector of the national economy in the Iraqi economy during the year 2020. The matrix of technical transactions issued by the Ministry of Planning for the year 2010 was relied on to obtain the matrix of 2020, as After applying the input-output model in its mathematical form to the matrix to solve it, obtaining the sectoral outputs of the economic sectors and the final demand as well as the added value, and also observing the sectoral interconnections and their relationship with the economic sectors in a positive or negative way during the year 2020.
