Abstract

The research aims to delve into the study of discovering and investing the available entrepreneurial opportunities in the University of Kirkuk, which is one of the emerging universities in Iraq, by knowing the extent of the capabilities possessed by the University of Kirkuk in discovering the available entrepreneurial opportunities, and then working on their investment. The researchers used the descriptive analytical approach  To collect, describe and analyze data by means of a questionnaire, which was the main tool of the study, the study population was represented by (132) individuals, represented by (the president of the university, the assistant president of the university, the dean, the assistant dean, the head of the department).  They had a questionnaire, and (121) questionnaires were retrieved, (3) of which were damaged, and (118) questionnaires were valid for analysis.  One of the most important findings of the study is that the entrepreneurial opportunities at the University of Kirkuk need to spend more time and efforts, develop the necessary strategies and plans, and how to obtain the necessary support in order to discover these entrepreneurial opportunities, both inside and outside the university, and invest them in a way that serves the university and society.  Study by obtaining support from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Kirkuk Governorate to increase investment in young energies through training, study, scholarships and fellowships, especially since the social climate of the governorate is characterized by diversity that makes the availability of opportunities increasing, which requires discovery and investment.
