Abstract

When entering into the depth of history, we find there is a great debate about the role of the state according to the various economic literature and theories  From the inception of the state until the present day about the state's economic role and its borders, There are those who categorically reject the state having a role in the production process and not interfering in the market, And between a supporter of the state’s role in the production process, and that the state owns all the tools of production, and that it interferes in all aspects of the economy, However, the practical reality and intellectual history of economics, Especially after the great development in the concept of the state, its complexities and responsibilities at the beginning of the last century, And the frequency of crises that afflicted the global economic system, free thought did not succeed in proving the non-interference of the state in economic activity, nor did the left-socialist thought prove the effectiveness of its state that owns and controls the means of production. The result of this controversy resulted in many roles of the state in the economy, and that these roles are compatible with the proposed economic thought and the shape of the problems and crises that afflict global economies
