Abstract

The research aims to raise the level of environmental and financial performance of the Kufa Cement Factory to reduce environmental pollution and gas emissions through the use of cleaner production and thus achieve a sustainable competitive advantage. For this purpose, the Kufa / Najaf Al-Ashraf Cement Factory was selected as a sample for the research.

It also addressed the most important conclusions that the adoption of cleaner production contributes to the optimal use of natural resources and the rationalization of energy and water consumption that leads to the reduction of environmental pollution and gas emissions, and thus achieving a sustainable competitive advantage.

The researcher also reached the most important recommendations of applying cleaner production to get rid of environmental waste and harmful gaseous emissions from the source, thus achieving a sustainable competitive advantage.
